Kelce, Cook will aim for third straight Super Bowl win in New Orleans

A pair of Cincinnati Bearcats will lead the Kansas City Chiefs into Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9 in New Orleans.

KANSAS CITY– A pair of Cincinnati Bearcats will lead the Kansas City Chiefs into Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9 in New Orleans. Tight end Travis Kelce and safety Brian Cook will attempt to make history as the Chiefs can become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome.

Kelce caught two passes for 19 yards, including a clutch first down in the fourth quarter, as the Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills, 32-29, in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Cook added three tackles as a starting safety.

The Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders, 55-23, in the NFC Championship Game at Lincoln Financial Field.

Former UC safety Darrick Forrest had two tackles in the game for the Commanders.

Super Bowl LIX will mark the sixth straight with a Bearcat in the game.

Kelce will appear in his fifth Super Bowl and look to win his fourth.
